Asif's pace and accuracy with the new ball will be sorely missed |
Pakistan paceman Mohammad Asif has been ruled out of the upcoming Test series in India after failing to recover from his chronic elbow injury. The 24-year-old has been struggling with the problem since the beginning of October and chief selector Salahuddin Ahmed said: "It's still an issue.
"He will go to Australia for a complete rehabilitation process in the hope he can return for the series after India."
