New Zealand veteran Chris Cairns says the Kiwis are in no hurry with two days of the final Test against England left. They hold a 255-run advantage and were 190-5 at the end of the third day's play at Trent Bridge.
Cairns said: "We don't want to get drawn too much into that runs scenario, we are focusing more on time.
"With two days left to go, if we occupy the crease and play accordingly, then hopefully we will set England a stiff task," he added.
Cairns, playing in his final Test match, recorded figures of 5-79 in the first innings at his former county ground.
He said: "It's nice to be etched into eternity here at Trent Bridge.

"When you get these milestones and at a special place like this, it means that much more.
"With so many injuries it was nice to be given the new ball.
"I think I had resigned myself to being first second or even third change but it was good bowling at opportune times."
Cairns said he was determined to enjoy his final two days in Test cricket and said his former team-mate Dion Nash had been talking to him.
He added: "Dion told me how much it hurts when you finish playing and I'm sure it will but I've got two days left to live it and I'll live it the best I can."
