There is an old adage about not changing a winning team so I am hoping we stick with the same XI for the third Test.

So far the structure has worked very successfully but I'll have to wait and see on Thursday If I've been selected again. I know I have not performed brilliantly with the bat yet but I have been working hard in the nets and during practise sessions too.

We are aware of the turmoil in the West Indies camp but what happens off the field and in the papers is far removed from the on-field activities we have to deal with. Our wives and girlfriends flew out to join us in Barbados.
My fiancee Louise is getting ready for her law degree finals at Nottingham University but she has found time to sunbathe as well as concentrate on her studies.
