Steve Rhodes has three pace bowlers out injured |
Worcestershire director of cricket Steve Rhodes wants to put on a show for the home fans in Saturday's Pro40 game against Gloucestershire. Rhodes believes his side have not played well in one-day games at home, and a win will go a long way to keeping his team in the top flight. "Hopefully we'll put in a good show for the home crowd as they deserve it. "They are the top team and have been a good one-day side for some years, so we are going to have to be at our best." Kabir Ali, Matt Mason and Simon Jones are all missing from the Worcestershire pace attack through injury. Mason hopes to make a comeback from a shoulder muscle tear for the last two Championship games, but Kabir is still waiting for the results of a scan on a back injury. There will be full ball by ball commentary on the game on BBC Hereford and Worcester on 738 AM and online at bbc.co.uk/herefordandworcester.
