Simon Jones is set to make his Worcestershire debut

Worcestershire skipper Vikram Solanki says his squad are ready for the start of the season as they take on Warwickshire at Edgbaston on Wednesday.

Worcestershire will give debuts to bowlers Steve Magoffin, Simon Jones and Gareth Andrew.

Solanki told BBC Hereford and Worcester they have been working hard to get in shape despite the recent poor weather.

"All the bowlers have had a good work out, the batters have spent time in the middle, we just want to get going."
