Warwickshire cannot lose again in CB40 - Ashley Giles
Giles' Bears best hope of success lies in the County Championship
Warwickshire director of cricket Ashley Giles believes his team cannot afford to lose any more matches in the CB40.
The Bears' hopes of retaining their title were hit by a four-run defeat by Scotland in a rain-affected game restricted to 22 overs each on Monday.
"We can only afford to lose one game in this back period and we've lost that so we've got to win all the way in here," Giles told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire.
"To do that we've got to change the way we're playing."
The former England spinner added: "We've got to play in a much more professional and calculated way."
Tuesday's result leaves Warwickshire fourth in their group after they were unable to successfully chase down a target of 121.
The hosts made 120-7 but, despite a knock of 45 from Ant Botha, the Bears fell short.
Giles added: "I thought we performed well in the field, 121 should have been gettable for the side.
"It took a fantastic effort from Ant Botha to get us close, but realistically we were way off."
