Robinson led Sussex to the Division Two title last season

Sussex coach Mark Robinson says he is pleased with how his team have responded to missing key players.

Matt Prior, Luke Wright and Mike Yardy have all missed several matches due to international duty and injuries.

Robinson told BBC Sussex: "The squad has shown tremendous character and resilience. We've been tested because we've had a lot of personnel changes.

"People coming and going is a challenge. Bit by bit we've managed to keep things going forward."

He added: "We've had a bit of a fall in fortunes in the last couple of Twenty20 games, but we're trying to get back to the rhythm of playing as we were before."
