 Arafat will miss the start of the County Championship season |
Sussex will be without Yasir Arafat for the start of the 2009 season because of his Indian Premier League commitments. The 26-year-old all-rounder will miss all eight of Sussex's FP Trophy group games and three Championship fixtures. Arafat is not due back in England until 28 May and could be delayed longer if his IPL franchise reaches the final. "We can't decide anything about Yasir's replacement until after the IPL auction in January," coach Mark Robinson told The Argus.
