Trescothick's side lost by three wickets to Warwickshire
Marcus Trescothick says Somerset have plenty to be proud of despite a disappointing end to their season.
Saturday's CB40 final defeat against Warwickshire was their third runners-up spot this season following near misses in the County Championship and FP t20.
"Three times in a season is pretty devastating for the boys, they're all gutted," Trescothick told BBC Somerset.
"We're very proud of what we've done and achieved as cricketers. We have been consistent throughout the season."
The Lord's defeat came two days after Nottinghamshire pipped Somerset to the County Championship title on the final day of the season.
In August Trescothick's men were beaten by Hampshire in the FP t20 final at The Rose Bowl.
He added: "We can walk out of here [Lord's] with a lot of pride and passion about what we've done and what we can still do.
"We'll sit back and assess a few things, review the season and look at what we've done well and the things we need to improve on.
"At the moment, there's a lot of tired bodies and brains."
