Somerset wicketkeeper Craig Kieswetter heads a list of players disciplined by the England and Wales Cricket Board for their on-field conduct. England's Kieswetter was reported for showing serious dissent during an FP t20 match against Kent. Hampshire batsman Chris Benham and Essex wicketkeeper Grant Flower were cited for the same misdemeanour. All three received three penalty points and will be suspended if they receive nine points in any two-year period. Gloucestershire's Jon Lewis also received three points after he was reported for throwing the ball "at or near a player, umpire or official in an inappropriate and dangerous manner." Northamptonshire's Lee Daggett received the same penalty after he was removed from the attack for bowling a beamer in a t20 match against Derbyshire. Second XI cricketers Karl Brown and Joel Pope were handed official reprimands for showing dissent against umpiring decisions, with James Hockley given the same punishment for abuse of a cricket ground or equipment.
