Somerset captain Justin Langer has revealed that he will not be playing in the Indian Premier League this year.

"I am pleased to report the Rajasthan Royals and I have mutually agreed to part ways which enables me to play the entire season for Somerset," he said.

"I am excited about this and know my 100% commitment to the summer will be significant," Langer added.

The 37-year-old Australian will be playing his fourth season in Taunton, having joined the county in 2006.

Langer retired from international cricket in January 2007 after playing in 105 Tests for Australia.
