Somerset opener Marcus Trescothick has recovered from an Achilles injury and will play against Sussex on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old opener hurt himself on Sunday going for a high ball while fielding in the four-wicket FP Trophy defeat against Gloucestershire.

The Cidermen are set to name the same County Championship line-up that drew with Hampshire last week.

Paceman Alfonso Thomas, who went off against Gloucs with a hamstring strain, has not been included in the side.
