Seamer David Lucas took four wickets to help Northamptonshire beat an Eastern Province team by 16 runs at the start of their pre-season tour. The 32-year-old left-armer finished with four for 29 as the hosts, replying to Northants' 201 for nine at Despatch Cricket Club, were dismissed for 185. David Willey top-scored for the tourists with 34 before Lucas made sure of a morale-boosting victory. The county face franchise side Warriors in a Twenty20 game on Wednesday.
