Allenby has been the star of Leicestershire's T20 campaign |
Leicestershire opener James Allenby believes a more relaxed approach is behind the county's impressive recent form in this season's Twenty20 Cup. The Foxes beat previously unbeaten North Division leaders Lancashire on Monday and lie second in the table. Allenby told BBC Radio Leicester: "We had a poor run last year and the start of this year wasn't great. "We decided we're going to go and play; we are not going to worry about failing, we are going to have fun." He added: "We know it's not going to work every week but at the moment it has worked more often than not." Leicestershire have won four of their seven matches but have a superior run rate to Yorkshire, who have also won four and lost three. The Foxes face Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge on Wednesday evening.
