Leicestershire head coach Tim Boon said he was proud of his team's efforts despite losing the Division two Pro40 match against Yorkshire. Boon was full of praise for Dillon Du Preez, who scored an unbeaten 107 off 65 balls. He told BBC Radio Leicester: "I don't remember ever seeing somebody strike the ball as hard and far. "To chase over 300 is a daunting task but it just shows what happens when one player goes and plays well." After winning the toss Yorkshire closed on 303-4, while Leicestershire fell just one run short on 302-7.
