Kruger (left) and Dippenaar have signed two-year contracts
Leicestershire have signed South African pair Boeta Dippenaar and Garnett Kruger for the next two years.

Dippenaar, 30, will fill the Foxes' overseas slot while Kruger, also 30, returns under Kolpak terms after impressing last season.

Coach Tim Boon said: "Boeta will add much-needed experience to the batting line-up with the added option of moving him up the order in the one-day game.

"Kruger is an experienced strike bowler capable of bowling hostile spells."

Dippenaar has an average of 42.00 after playing 107 one-day internationals for South Africa, but was not selected for the current series in Pakistan.

He has also made 38 Test appearances.

He and Kruger are the latest Leicestershire recruits following the arrival of James Taylor and the offer of professional terms to Joel Pope.

However, batsman John Sadler will not be at Grace Road next season after he rejected the offer of a new contract and joined Derbyshire instead.
