Sutton, 33, averages just under 30 runs in the Championship |
Luke Sutton has said he wants more recognition after his unbeaten 101 against Durham in the Championship. The Lancashire wicketkeeper helped guide his team to 344 all out in the first innings at Chester-le-Street. He told BBC Radio Manchester: "I'd like to be acknowledged for what I've achieved at the club. "If you look at my record, it stacks up pretty well but it doesn't always feel like that and I still feel like I'm under trial really." He added: "I'm in a situation a lot of the time with my Lancashire career - now my fifth year - and I still feel I'm under pressure. "So whenever I score a hundred, it's very, very satisfying - no doubt about that."
