Sutton's side are currently fourth in Division One |
Luke Sutton believes Lancashire will be ready to face Worcestershire after being Sunday's Friends Provident Trophy semi-final defeat by Hampshire. The men from Old Trafford need a positive response in the County Championship after their 64-run defeat. The 32-year-old wicketkeeper told BBC Radio Manchester: "We've got some great professionals in our changing room and we'll be ready to go. "We need to click up our Championship play a couple of gears I think." He added: "Worcestershire have been a struggling side but what effect the semi-final defeat will have on us is a good question. "If you look at their side on paper, they've got some good players so it will be a good test for us."
