South African all-rounder Justin Kemp has rejoined Kent until 2009. "I am really looking forward to playing for Kent again. Rob Key and Graham Ford have built a really strong squad," said Kemp, who played for Kent in 2005. "These are exciting times and I am keen to make a real contribution to the success of the club." Kemp, who played four Tests and 85 one-day matches for South Africa, has signed as a Kolpak player so will not count as the club's overseas player. Kent's chairman of cricket Graham Johnson described the two-year deal as great news for the club. "Kent members will remember some of his amazing innings when he was with us in 2005 and 2006, and will be delighted to hear of his return," he said. "His experience will be invaluable to our younger players and his all-round talents and approach will significantly strengthen our squad."
