Ireland lost to Kenya by three wickets in their World Cup warm-up game at the Dubai International Stadium on Tuesday. Batting first, Ireland recovered from 56-7 to record a total of 176 all out, returning batsman Ed Joyce top-scoring with 59. Andrew White contributed 29, George Dockrell scored 18 not out and Niall O'Brien 17. Kenya scored 178-7 in reply and Ireland next play New Zealand and Zimbabwe in warm-up matches in Nagpur. New Zealand are Ireland's opponents on 12 February and Zimbabwe are next up for the Irish on 15 February.
