Ireland lost by 50 runs to West Indies A in the first of their two one-day games at Stormont in Belfast.

West Indies A won the toss and made 251 all out off 49.5 overs, with Andre Russell top-scoring with 64, Kevin Stoute scoring 61 and Assad Fudadin 50.

Phil Eaglestone and Kevin O'Brien took three wickets apiece and Alex Cusack two, while two players were run out.

Ireland replied with 201 all out off 48.1 overs, with Andrew White the top performer with a score of 75.

Andre Russell ended with bowling figures of 6-42 for West Indies A.

O'Brien had figures of 3-43, Eaglestone 3-48 and Cusack 2-49 for Ireland.

The sides will meet again on Friday.
