Hughes (l) has played alongside ex-Hampshire Aussie, Simon Katich |
Australia international opener Phillip Hughes will make his Hampshire debut against Kent this weekend, earlier than previously expected. The 21-year-old will be playing competitive cricket for the first time in five months, as he bids to win back his Test place for the Ashes series. "I just can't wait to get out in the middle," Hughes told BBC Radio Solent. "It's an important period for me. I just want to help Hampshire win as many games as I can now I'm here."
