Mike O'Shea played four times for Glamorgan this season |
Glamorgan manager Matthew Maynard has released all-rounder Mike O'Shea. Ex-England Under-19 international O'Shea made his first-class debut for Glamorgan against Bangladesh A at Abergavenny in 2005 at the age of 17. The 22-year-old was suspended in June after being involved in a car crash and later convicted of drink-driving. He made two Friends Provident Trophy appearances and two in the Twenty20 Cup along with one County Championship showing this season. Maynard said: "It is always a difficult decision to release a player. "However, unfortunately, Mike has not managed to play to his full potential over the past couple of seasons."
