Cosker eased Glamorgan to victory with four for 10 in the second innings

Glamorgan completed a 120-run victory over Western Province B in their two-day game in Cape Town.

Set a target of 259 to win the South Africans were bowled out for 138 with the spinners Dean Cosker and Robert Croft the heroes.

Cosker finished with six wickets including 4-10 as WP were reduced to 90 all out in the first innings.

The match also provided useful batting practice with Ben Wright, Michael Powell and Mark Wallace scoring 50s.

Resuming on their overnight total of 67/5, the South Africans were dismissed quite easily.

Glamorgan quickly extended their first innings lead of 102 with both Tom Maynard and Jamie Dalrymple making 36, before Wallace struck an unbeaten 50.

It allowed Dalrymple to declare on 156/4 from just 30 overs, leaving the home side a tough total.

The visiting bowlers were soon amongst the wickets, slipping to 12/2 with both Alex Wharf and David Harrison claiming an early wicket.

Harrison added two further scalps as he completed a decent return of 3/30 from his eight overs.

The spinners, Croft (3/19) and Cosker (2/19), completed the third tour win which went some way to make up for Monday's one-day defeat at the hands of Holland.

Glamorgan complete their pre-season tour on Friday with a one-day match against Boland Academy.
