Bopara also hit a century against West Indies in the winter |
Essex chief executive David East thinks Ravi Bopara can make the number three slot his own in the England batting line-up this summer. Bopara hit 143 in the first Test against the West Indies at Lord's, to follow-up a century in the Caribbean during the winter. "We've always known he's a good one-day batsman and has played some great innings for us," East told BBC Essex "But his innings at Lord's was very different and he left the ball well."
