Durham coach Geoff Cook has highlighted the impact of the bowling attack in Sunday's five-run win over Yorkshire in the Friends Provident Trophy. "Graham Onions and Neil Killeen bowled really well. Up front with the new ball they bowled immaculate line and length," he told BBC Radio Newcastle. "Then Liam Plunkett and Steve Harmison came on and bowled with a lot of guts, skill and speed. "They kept up the good work that the two opening bowlers had started." Next up for Durham is the opening match of the Division One County Championship against Surrey at the Riverside on Wednesday, and Cook has been busy preparing his side to face Alan Butcher's freescoring outfit. "They've had a fantastic start to the season, they've scored lots and lots of runs," he said. "They're very strong in the batting order, very experienced and in Mark Ramprakash they've got one of the in-form cricketers of the last few seasons. "It'll be a good test, try and get some runs on the board and get ourselves some points in the four-day games."
