Clarke moved to Derbyshire from Surrey this season

Derbyshire captain Rikki Clarke says his side must look on the positive side of this season's Twenty20 Cup campaign.

The Phantoms take on Leicestershire at Grace Road on Friday with both sides already out of the competition and just playing for pride.

But Clarke told BBC Radio Derby: "If we go to Leicester and win that game then that's eight points.

"And if we improve again next year that's 10 points, which looks good enough for the quarter-finals."
