Morris will stick with his players despite their poor form |
Derbyshire head of cricket John Morris will not make drastic changes for the final two games of their Twenty20 Cup campaign despite being knocked out. Derbyshire suffered a seven-wicket thrashing against Lancashire on Monday. But Morris said: "We won't be picking the second team on Wednesday. What would be the point in that?" "There have been 13 players in this squad, and we're happy with the nucleus. I'm not going to chop and change just because we lost a game." He added: "We only change it when we feel it needs to be changed. Derbyshire entertain North Division leaders Durham on Wednesday in their final home Twenty20 fixture. And the Phantoms finish their campaign with an away game against struggling Leicestershire at Grace Road on Friday.
