Liam Norwell took six wickets on his Gloucestershire debut as Derbyshire were made to follow on at Nevil Road.

The hosts began day two on 224-6 and eventually eked out 343 thanks to a last-wicket stand of 76 between another deubtant David Payne (46) and Norwell.

Teenage medium pacer Norwell then took 6-46, including 4-2 in 11 balls, as Derbyshire were skittled for 157.

Derbyshire were 30-0 second time around by stumps, still 156 runs short of making Gloucestershire bat again.

After contributing 19 with the bat in the stand with Payne, Norwell began the Derbyshire collapse by having Garry Park caught by Will Gidman at gully off his third ball.

And wickets continued to tumble before he returned to wrap up the innings by removing Derbyshire captain Luke Sutton caught behind for 35, swiftly followed by Tim Groenewald leg before, Jon Clare caught at second slip by Chris Dent and Antonio Palladino caught behind.
