Yorkshire will be at home to Warwickshire and Somerset will host Essex in the semi-finals of the Clydesdale Bank 40. The Tykes and Somerset were guaranteed home advantage after winning their groups with the best records. Warwickshire clinched top spot in Group C by beating Nottinghamshire on Saturday, while Essex have qualified by virtue of being the best runner-up. The semi-finals will take place at Scarborough and Taunton next Saturday. And Yorkshire captain Andrew Gale is confident of his side's chances of reaching the Lord's final despite losing their final Group B game to Essex. "Warwickshire have got a good record and are playing good cricket but we would have taken either them or Essex at Scarborough," said Gale. "I was not particularly bothered who we would play in the semi-final, I was just glad to get through at Northampton last week. "Ever since I put on a Yorkshire shirt as an 11-year-old I have dreamt of leading the side out at Lord's and to get there would mean the world to myself and all of the lads who will be giving 110% to get to the final."
