Division Two leaders Glamorgan are likely to be asked to follow-on after being bowled out for 207 by Northants on day two at Wantage Road.

Having begun the day on 355-5, captain Andrew Hall led the way for the home side with an unbeaten 84 as they were eventually bowled out for 494.

Glamorgan captain Jamie Dalrymple took four of the last five wickets to fall.

But only Jim Allenby (59no) and Will Owen (38) resisted as the visitors were all out off the day's final ball.

Zimbabwe international Elton Chigumbura wrapped up the tail on his County Championship debut for Northants, finishing with 4-67 to add to the 44 he hit in adding 108 for the sixth wicket with Hall before falling to Dalrymple (4-71).

Chigumbura began the day unbeaten on five, with Hall on six, and he was within sight of a half-century when he played on to his own stumps.

Dalrymple than had David Murphy caught behind in his next over and, after Dean Cosker trapped James Middlebrook leg before, had David Lucas caught at slip by Allenby.

Jack Brooks was Dalrymple's fourth victim, but from then on it all went wrong for Glamorgan as big-hitting Australian opener Mark Cosgrove went for a golden duck.

Tom Maynard, Ben Wright and Dalrymple all fell cheaply as Lucas and Brooks took the first five wickets between them to leave Glamorgan 55-5.

Mark Wallace helped Allenby steady the ship with 21 before lofting Chigumbura to Nicky Boje at mid-wicket.

The Zimbabwean then removed James Harris and Cosker in successive balls and then bowled David Harrison before Owen's resistance, after a 41-ball 38, was ended when he sliced Boje to Murphy off the final ball of the day.
