The last day of the Championship season ended in a dull draw at Headingley as Yorkshire and Hampshire saw out time.
With both sides free from the threat of relegation and unable to agree on a run chase, the game died on its feet before Hampshire finally declared on 284-3.
After starting the day on 41-0, three Hampshire men made half centuries, Jimmy Adams hitting 72, backed by Chris Benham (67no) and Michael Lumb (64).
Adams' effort enabled him to finish Hants' top Championship run scorer.
Having hit 51 in the first innings, that took him to a career-best 1,279 Championship runs for the season.
And it overtook injured Michael Carberry, who had hit 1,251 until breaking his finger, causing him to miss the last four games.
Lumb, who has already hit 1,000 runs in one-day cricket this summer, also completed 1,000 first-class runs for the season.
