Cornwall overcame the odds to pull off a stunning win against Devon on the final day of their Minor Counties match in Truro on Tuesday.
After only 13 overs were bowled on Monday due to heavy rain, the match looked as if it was heading for a draw.
But Cornwall bowled Devon out for 73 in their second innings, leaving the hosts needing just 94 to win from 18 overs.
Cornwall passed the target with two balls remaining, giving them a three wicket win.
At one stage in their second innings, Devon collapsed to 19-7, with Tom Sharp taking 6-27 before they recovered to 73 all out.
Cornwall's team manager Godfrey Furses told BBC Cornwall he was astonished by the performance.
"I think it was one of the best day's cricket I've seen with Cornwall over 25 years," he said.
"In this game you couldn't have expected any more of the players.
"It was total effort, application and ability, batting, bowling and fielding and they've shown that when they play to their potential they're a very good side."
The result means that Cornwall stay top of the Minor Counties Championship Western Division, five points ahead of Cheshire who are second, with just one match remaining.
Cornwall's final game is against Wales, starting on Sunday 23 August.
