Lancashire and Derbyshire were frustrated by the weather as their Pro40 Division Two clash at Old Trafford was washed out.

Heavy rain overnight and on Sunday morning in Manchester left the outfield too wet for play, with the umpires calling the game off at 1610 BST.

It is Derbyshire's second abandonment in three days after their game with Northants was rained off on Friday.

This was to be Lancashire's first game of the last ever Pro40 season.
