AJ Harris recorded his best figures since joining Leicestershire
Bottom club Leicestershire needed just 70 minutes on day three to record their first County Championship win of the season at Grace Road against Middlesex.
The visitors were all out for 91 in their second innings, the last four wickets going down for just 15 runs.
Needing just seven to win, the hosts lost two wickets before wrapping up a convincing eight-wicket victory.
The 18-point win meant Leicestershire swapped places with Middlesex at the foot of the Division Two table.
It was Middlesex's lowest first-class score of the season, but, in truth, they were up against it from the outset, resuming on 76-6 after Saturday's batting collapse.
Leicestershire wicketkeeper Tom New had a hand in both early dismissals of Gareth Berg, caught down the leg side off Iain O'Brien, and then Shaun Udal as he fell to AJ Harris.
Harris took 2-2 in four overs of the morning session, ending the day with 4-24, his best figures since joining the county this season from neighbours Nottinghamshire.
Leicestershire then lost the wickets of Josh Cobb and Matt Boyce before Boeta Dippenaar struck the winning runs.
