Leicestershire left-arm seamer Harry Gurney collected his first five-wicket haul to revive his side's chances on day three against Surrey.

The 22-year-old took 5-82 as Surrey lost their last seven wickets for 47 runs, to be bowled out for 329 and earn a first-innings lead of 164.

Boeta Dippenaar and HD Ackerman then both hit half-centuries in an unbroken third-wicket stand of 91.

Leicestershire closed on 181-2, to have a hope of earning a draw.
