Kent batsman Darren Stevens has admitted he is still playing through the pain barrier after breaking his finger a month ago. Stevens has performed well since returning to action, and scored 25 runs in Kent's first Twenty20 Cup defeat of the season at Essex on Monday. But afterwards he told BBC Radio Kent: "I've still got a niggle there. "It's only been four weeks. The doctor said four to six weeks. I'm loading up with painkillers and I'm getting by."
