Glamorgan stormed to a commanding first innings total on day two, declaring on 403-6 as Michael Powell (108) and Jamie Dalrymple (102) both hit centuries.

It was Glamorgan skipper Dalrymple's second successive 100 following his unbeaten 112 last week at Lord's.

In reply, Derbyshire got off to a terrible start, losing opener Steve Stubbings for just 4.

Wavell Hinds was also out lbw to James Harris for 12 as the visitors ended the day on 37-2.
