County Championship D1, Trent Bridge (day two, stumps): Nottinghamshire 114-4 v Durham 266
Nottinghamshire survived an onslaught from Steve Harmison to reach 114-4 at the close on day two, trailing Durham by 152 with six wickets remaining. Harmison, in hostile form, dismissed Matt Wood and Mark Wagh as Notts slipped to 10-2 before Bilal Shafayat and Samit Patel steadied the ship. Callum Thorp accounted for Patel but Shafayat (54 not out) brought up his second fifty with a sweet boundary. Only 32 overs were possible on a rain-affected day at Trent Bridge.
