Walker is currently enjoying his benefit year at Kent |
Kent batsman Matt Walker is optimistic that he will be selected for the Spitfires to face Essex on Twenty20 finals day at the Rose Bowl. Walker, 33, who is in his benefit year, has been in and out of the Kent side this summer but has played in the last three Twenty20 games. He told BBC Radio Kent it had been hard to find some consistent form. "But when you've been around the block a bit it's not too tragic when you're not playing that much," Walker added. "You can find your feet pretty quickly so we'll have to wait and see what happens on Saturday." BBC Radio Kent will have ball-by-ball commentary of Kent v Essex on 774MW, digital radio and the website - bbc.co.uk/kent
