COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION TWO, The Swalec Stadium Glamorgan 183-5 v Warwickshire 421 (Day two, stumps)
James Anyon's 3-56 put Warwickshire in control on day two against Glamorgan following Ian Westwood's big century. Stand-in captain Westwood batted for nearly eight hours for his 176 to give the visitors an imposing total of 421. Glamorgan were then reduced to 118-3 by Anyon as they sought 272 to avoid the follow-on, though they closed on 183-5. Anyon's naggingly accurate line brought him two wickets caught at slip and an lbw as the hosts struggled despite opener Gareth Rees' effort with 77. Rees rode his luck slightly with consecutive hooks for four off Neil Carter. He finally came unstuck when coming down the track to Jonathan Trott and was bowled off a bottom edge.
