Essex will host Yorkshire in the semi-finals of the Friends Provident Trophy after Ravi Bopara's superb innings booked their last-four place. Bopara hit a brilliant 201 not out as Essex cruised past Leicestershire, while a Matthew Hoggard-inspired Yorkshire cruised past Gloucestershire. Meanwhile, defending champions Durham face a home tie against Kent who beat Somerset by 38 runs on Thursday. The last-four ties will be played on 4 and 5 July.
