The second day of Gloucestershire's final County Championship match of the season against bottom-placed Glamorgan at Sophia Gardens was a wash-out.

Umpires Trevor Jesty and Richard Illingworth had three inspections but no play was possible because of torrential overnight and morning rain.

After consultations with captains David Hemp and Jon Lewis, the umpires called play off for the day at 3.30pm.

Gloucestershire had been due to resume on 262-4 after being put into bat.
