County Championship D2, Swansea, day two (close): Glamorgan 429 v Nottinghamshire 199-5James Harris continued to break records as he and centurion Robert Croft put Glamorgan in a strong position against Nottinghamshire on day two at Swansea.
The 17-year-old put on 185 with Croft (115) in a club record ninth-wicket stand as the home side reached 429.
Harris's 87 not out, in only his fourth first-class match, made him Glamorgan's youngest scorer of a half-century.
Jason Gallian (78) lead the reply for Nottinghamshire as they reached 199-5, needing 81 more to avoid the follow-on.
Harris, who survived a number of short-pitched deliveries by Charlie Shreck, was left stranded just 13 runs short of being the youngest centurion in County Championship history.

Croft's 158-ball century was his seventh career ton but his first at his home ground.
Nottinghamshire's reply looked in good shape as opener Gallian put on 113 with Mark Wagh (57) before Dean Cosker struck in successive overs, Gallian caught at mid-off and then Stephen Fleming (8) edging to slip.
David Hussey finished the day unbeaten on 26, despite bring dropped twice in two balls off Cosker and Croft respectively.
"It was good fun, I really enjoyed my time out in the middle," Harris told BBC Sport Wales after his innings.
"It was disappointing that I couldn't get to the century, but there'll be plenty more opportunities for that.
"Robert [Croft] was a great help, he's got so much experience and helped to talk me through.
"I've always classed myself as an all-rounder, although my bowling has taken precedence in recent years. I still bat at number three when I play for Pontarddulais.
"I just like to keep interested in the game, it's better being out there than sat in the pavilion."
