Points: Glos 7, Glam 10Kadeer Ali scored his first century of the season and Ashley Noffke and Mark Hardinges each struck half-centuries as Gloucestershire denied Glamorgan a win.
The hosts started the day on 45-1, 138 runs behind Glamorgan's first-innings 392, and James Harris and Robert Croft were on form for the visitors.
But Ali racked up 102 off 205 balls and Hardinges (68) and Noffe (61) also contributed in Gloucestershire's 328-9.
It ensured a draw, while Harris, 17, finished with match figures of 12-118.
It meant he became the youngest player ever to take 10 or more wickets in a County Championship match, taking 5-52 in the second innings to follow up his first-innings 7-66.
And he combined well with Croft (3-94) to reduce Gloucestershire to 146-6, still 27 runs behind.
In that time Chris Taylor top-scored with 31, but when he glanced a leg-side Harris delivery behind, the hosts were in trouble.
But Hardinges and Noffke combined to ensure Gloucestershire snatched a draw and a crucial seven points.
Simon Jones, on his LV County Championship comeback, bowled with little luck for figures of 0-51 from 19 overs for Glamorgan.
