"Along with police, the members of rapid action battalion (RAB), army personnel and detectives are all working together and assisting us to do our job without any trouble." (Reuters, 0811 GMT)

AND FINALLY

India captain Mahendra Dhoni embarrassingly forgot the name of one of his own players at the toss for Saturday's World Cup opener against Bangladesh. Dhoni was stumped by TV interviewer Ravi Shastri as they stood in the middle at the Shere Bangla stadium when the name of omitted left-arm pace bowler Ashish Nehra escaped him. "(Ravichandran) Ashwin, (Piyush) Chawla, (Suresh) Raina and... one other guy won't play," smiled Dhoni, after being asked to name his team line-up. Nehra had been suffering from a sore back.
