BREAKING GOSSIP

1355 GMT: New Zealand's Nathan McCullum has been admitted to hospital on Thursday with a high fever. The off-spinner will be kept in overnight but a team spokesman said he is "recovering well". (Reuters)

1330 GMT: England batsmen Kevin Pietersen and Jonathan Trott both suffered minor injuries in Friday's warm-up game against Pakistan. Pietersen took a knock to the knee batting and did not field, while Trott was hit on the finger while fielding - but BBC Test Match Special producer Adam Mountford tweeted that both players should be fine for England's first game against the Netherlands on Tuesday.

1135 GMT: There are concerns with fire safety standards at the World Cup final venue in Mumbai, according to reports in India. The chief fire officer has revealed issues need to be resolved at the Wankhede Stadium before it gets the go-ahead for the showpiece event on 2 April.
