Bourne cricketers go top of Lincolnshire Premier League

Bourne are the new Lincolnshire Premier League leaders after beating local rivals Market Deeping by 100 runs.

Fahad Masood scored an unbeaten 110 as Bourne made 278-8 before bowling out the hosts for 178.

Tom Dalton made 77 not out as Nettleham beat Grimsby by five wickets to climb to second above Skegness, who slipped two places after losing to Louth.

Saeed Bariwala took 5-62 as Louth were dismissed for 162, but Skegness failed to capitalise and were all out for 102.

Bracebridge Heath's Brett Houston and Boston's Colin Cheer put in their best bowling performances of the season at Cross O'Cliff Court, with Bracebridge winning by 30 runs.

Cheer took 6-60 as the hosts were bowled out for 168, but Boston in reply were reduced to 11-4 before being dismissed for 138, with Houston taking 7-77.

Pakistan Test batsman Fawad Alam again made a telling contribution for Woodhall Spa, taking 6-49 and making 71 as they won by four wickets at Hartsholme, for whom Ben Davies made 93.

At London Road Jonathan Miles took 5-71 and Dammika Gunawardena and Matthew Mountain made half-centuries as Sleaford beat Lindum by five wickets.
