Lincolnshire beat Staffordshire by six wickets in the Minor Counties Eastern Division with a day to spare.

After being made to follow on, Staffs were all out for 217 in their second innings with Brett Houston taking 5-44.

It left Lincs an easy target of 56, which they easily reached despite David Edwards claiming four wickets.

Director of Cricket Mark Fell told BBC Lincolnshire: "We have only had two bad sessions all year, I am absolutely delighted with the team."

Vikram Atri top-scored with 89 in Lincolnshire's first innings of 317, before the hosts were dismissed for 155 in reply.

Fell's side have now won two of their four matches so far in the Minor Counties Championship Eastern Division.
