Lincolnshire's Minor Counties Eastern Division match against Suffolk ended in a draw after the third day's play at Sleaford was washed out by rain. Following on in their second innings, at the close Suffolk were 129-4, still 62 runs behind Lincolnshire. "The weather's uncontrollable but there are a lot of positives to take from the first two days," Lincs captain Paul Cook told BBC Lincolnshire. "The lads batted well together and bowled well together." Suffolk were all out in their first innings for 237, in reply to Lincolnshire's 428 which included a record sixth-wicket stand of 223 between Cook (113) and Ollie Burford who made his highest county score of 128.
